The purpose of the Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation is to support, promote, and encourage the Arts in our community.

It is the vision of the Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation that, through our works, we will foster an environment where creativity transforms our community and inspires our future generations.
Mission Statement
Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to broaden the cultural, artistic, and performing arts in Oceanside and the surrounding communities. We are project-oriented and use all proceeds from our annual events to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors from throughout North County San Diego pursuing artistic and performing arts degrees, and to produce more quality events in the city of Oceanside, California. Through these endeavors we ensure our community will have the opportunity to celebrate art both in and out of school.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Since 1989, the Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation- OCAF mission has played a vital role in shaping and enriching the artistic and cultural landscape of Oceanside. What began as a small group of passionate community members has grown into a dynamic organization dedicated to supporting local artists, fostering creativity, and promoting the arts in all their forms. For over three decades, OCAF has been a driving force behind Oceanside’s thriving arts scene—hosting festivals, performances, and exhibits that bring people together and celebrate the city’s diverse talent.

OCAF Created Arts Commission
In 1991 OCAF proposed the idea of an Arts Commission that would foster the arts and provide education to the community.

OCAF Created the Oceanside Museum of Art
In 1993 OCAF officially chose the name Oceanside Museum of Art and pursued the goal of acquiring the Gill Building, designed by architect Irving Gill.

OCAF Created the Oceanside International Film Festival
Created in 2009, OIFF has had films entered from all corners of the world and has established Oceanside as a film festival destination.
