What: Twenty-Four Live Free Music Concerts over 3 years (Eight a year)
Where: We have selected four City Parks that honor and reflect the Levitt Foundation’s desire to identify community areas that would benefit from an enhanced commitment to activation through live music, in line with OCAF’s mission to provide and extend the arts equitably to all our city residents.
The four parks submitted in our winning proposal are: John Landes, Balderrama, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Mance Buchanon Parks
When: Our series kickoff event will be Saturday April 18, 2026, at John Landes Park followed by April 25 at Martin Luther King Park, May 2 at Mance Buchanon Park, and May 9 at Balderrama Park to close out the Spring season.
Additional dates are under review and will be posted when we know more.
(Four in Spring, four in Autumn) More details will follow.
The Foundation encourages the community to continue its enthusiastic support by spreading the word and participating in upcoming voting opportunities. With continued unity and passion, Oceanside has become one of the next Levitt grant recipients, allowing us to bring more music, energy, and creativity to our vibrant coastal community.
About the Levitt Foundation Grant Concert Series
Geared to communities of any size, Levitt BLOC (Building Layers Of Community) activates different neighborhoods in a town or city by “layering” concerts across multiple public spaces, broadening the overall reach of the music series.
A Community Effort

OCAF also continues to recognize its dedicated community partners whose collaboration made this achievement possible:
-
