Write On, Oceanside

Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation with the Oceanside Library invite our local writers to share their literary arts. Write On, Oceanside! is an annual literary festival to celebrate and inspire local authors. This year’s 22nd Annual event will be Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 10 AM to 2 PM in and around the Oceanside Civic Center Plaza.
10am | Author Showcase
Meet local authors and learn about their writing and books. Books will be available for purchase and signing!
11am | Children’s Activities
Bring the kids to make crafts and participate in various fun activities.
1:30am | Writing Contest Winners
The winners of the Six Word Story contest and the Picture This Oceanside contest will be announced.
WRITING WORKSHOPS
10AM – 11:45AM | Memoir Workshop
Presented by Oceanside memoirist and poet Sandy Carpenter.
12AM – 1PM | Blogging Workshop
Presented by Oceanside blogger and historian Kristi Hawthorne.
