Dawn Tappen is a process based abstract painter known for her colorful multilayered acrylic paintings. Residing in sunny southern California where she is inspired by the colorful pacific sunsets.

Dawn received her bachelor’s from California state university Northridge but has been creating since she was a child.

In addition to her love of art, Dawn considers herself a community igniter. She enjoys bringing people together for support and collaboration. Dawn has been a founding member and participant of numerous art groups and galleries.
